Happy Holidays
at
9:45 PM
We certainly hope you all enjoyed your Christmas as much as we did! We are really enjoying our winter vacation and are anxious for the wind to stop blowing so we can get out and enjoy the 12+" of snow we've gotten in the last 24 hours. There's even more on the way! Bean is absolutely loving the snow, she just wishes her face wasn't getting windburn so bad! She says we need to remember our sunscreen next time( to avoid the burn) I love her! Well Happy new year to all!

Our First Summer in Massachusettes
at
8:00 PM
Life has been going really well here! William is loving his job! He recently transfered from the concert band to the rock band and is really enjoying it. It's kinda weird to tell people that my husband is the lead singer of a rock band, but I'm getting used to it!

When we first moved here in April, we were the first people to move in on our block. Half the houses were still being built. But by mid-end of July the houses were filled. We really enjoyed seeing the progression of the houses and getting so many neighbors! We decided to put together a block party to give people a chance to get out & meet everyone & it was a success! Just yesterday a girl approached me at the park & asked if we were going to have another one. Not until next summer I'm afraid! It's already too cold! And it was a lot of work!
We have enjoyed visits from a lot of family!

Both our parents and my brother & his family. It was great to see everyone & do all the sightseeing stuff with them! We traveled to Connecticut to see a few of William's concerts, hit the Boston's Children's Museum, The Minuteman Trail & a witch museum in Salem! My girls were too onery the day they did they freedom trail, so they went without us, but I had the chance to do part of it with Relief Society & had a blast! Maybe next summer I'll be brave & take them!

We took a break ourselves & spent 2 weeks in Utah.

We went on a family reunion camping trip for my mom's side of the family. We had so much fun! There was a small river next to our site so we spent most the time tubing down & swinging across on the rope swing. Adi was the youngest one to go on it by herself and she was a pro!

We toured the Sweets Candy Factory

Met new cousins

And spent time with Great-grandparents

We smiled

Splashed

Posed

Jumped

Read

Re-connected

And shared??

I could never find Liza's swimsuit when we needed it the whole trip! So sorry Liza!!
Utah was awesome, but we were definitely glad to be back! We have made a lot of friends and love living here! We're very anxious to see what the future holds for us! This is a beautiful place to live! Now let's hope we survive our first winter!!

A Day at the Library
at
10:02 AM
First of all, story time is on wednesdays at 10:30. Why is it so impossible to get out of the house in time. So we're already running late and there is no where at all to park in the library parking lot (darn construction). So we go across the street. walk over with our stretch limo of a stroller, just in time for story time to end.
Now what to do? Most of you with two small children probably would never think of getting on the computer at the library. Well I was tired of the turkey background so I decided to give it a try. Now if you don't already know, I was blessed with very well mannered kids. Aside from the times when they're hungry or tired. Well it's a good thing they put us all by ourselves in the back corner in the lab. Adi ended up spinning in the chair next to me, till she made herself sick. Tried to find a toy or something in the diaper bag, and in doing so she woke up Liza. Now Liza is SCREAMING!! She's a thumb sucker though, so every once in a while she'll calm herself with a few sucks. and to make me even more crazy, one of the staff just came in because he heard Liza crying. Now he didn't say anything, but I could tell from the look on his face that he was saying, "Uh. . . lady, you do realize that you're at a library, right?" Man, my wonderful children turn into clowns the second we get in this place.
I've decided I want to save up my money, and invest in a nanny when we get to Boston. Someone that is available just once in a while to help my sanity. Someone that will just do the dishes if they get backed up, or I just don't feel like doing them. Someone to talk to when I'm bored or want to have an adult conversation with. Someone that might actually be competition when playing games. I desperately want to play Scrabble or Russian Spy (that's my homemade version of Scotland Yard that my brother made me).
So I might never actually get this dream nanny, but that's why it's a dream I guess. Maybe I'll get lucky, and get an awesome nextdoor neighbor that doesn't have any kids or a job and is just dying for someone to craft, or scrapbook with. Someone that is already a pro at photography and teach me everything they know. Hmmm. . .
Enough dreaming, we're off to the park to hopefully get the wiggles out of Adi and maybe she'll take a nap today!

Technical Difficulties
at
6:58 AM
Well, friends, our old-school computer will not let me change our silly Thanksgiving background. I'm going to really make this a priority this week though so you can all get an update. I've also misplaced the USB cord for my camera, so that is why there are no recent pictures! I am so sorry for the delay. Please be patient with me. Hopefully everything will be worked out this week and I can get back to blogging.
Meanwhile, just a super fast update. William finally got some word on when we get to move to Boston! He has to wait for his one year mark of being here which is June 20, then they will release him. And while he's waiting for June he gets to be on the honor guard just cause they don't like him on the flightline and want to get rid of him. It works out better this way anyway because he might get "below the zone" early, and get to apply for Ssgt a whole year early! That would be really nice!!
I am taking FULL advantage of the extra time here to completely de-junk!! I want this move to be our easiest!! I'm so tired of all the last minute moving we've done in the past and unpacking garbage when we get there! I want to be organized and able to get back to normal life as soon as we get there! So all things happen for a reason, and this 9 months of waiting to move, should turn out to be a blessing. Ironic I guess that it ends up to be 9 months almost to the day of his audition in September. Crazy. It's like Boston is our new baby!!
Speaking of, Angeliza is doing wondeful!! She sleeps through the night! Is finally on a normal eating and napping schedule during the day. She's smiling a lot more, working on her laugh, Can hold her head up pretty well while on her belly, sucks her thumb and pokes her eyes with her fingers while doing so. And finally she thinks she's talking when she gurgles. So cute!! I love her!
Adielle is almost 3!! Can you believe it? She is so smart for her age it's crazy! She has learned that, "We don't say stupid, Mom" So I have plenty of daily reminders. She beats me at bowling on the Wii almost everytime. And loves to do boxing on there as well. When she fell into the kitchen table at Christmas, she did end up killing the roots of both her front teeth so they are turning more and more grey. Just wants to be as cool as me I guess. I only had one grey tooth though so she's just trying to show me up. The teeth are fine for now, but once her teeth are ready to start falling out, we'll need to get them pulled. She's almost completely potty trained. Which has been our biggest hurdle! Hallelujah!! She is a very picky eater but if it has chocolate on it, she probly eat it.
I'm trying really hard to get back into photography, so if any of my SC friends want to be my models- CALL ME!!! Plus if any of you have any tips for me, bring it on!! I'm still having a hard time to get my brain to understand all the technical terms- aperature, dof, shutter speed, and so on and how they affect the outcome of the picture. It's been too long since almost 2 years since I was trying to study all that so, we'll see how well I do. My friend Mandy wants me to take some family photos for her, so I need to figure out what I'm doing before then!
Anyway, I promise I will try my hardest to get some pictures up this week and to get rid of the turkeys!

Merry Christmas!!
at
10:54 PM
Today was a wonderful day!! Adi had a blast opening ALL the presents!! She didn't care whose they were she just knew they were presents and that they needed to be opened! She got a barbie airplane and her first 2-wheeler bike!! I can't wait to get her out there and teach her to ride it!! No training wheels! I don't believe in them! If she could sing the national anthem and 50 some odd primary songs, than I think she can manage a bicycle withouit training wheels!
Liza is Doing great. Not a lot to update on her since all she does is eat, sleep and poop. She is growing quickly though. Sweet little Adi wore her same Christmas dress from last year, (thanks for it Papa!!) And our HUGE baby Liza wore Adi's first Christmas dress. Ummm. . ..Adi was 9 MONTHS OLD then!! Liza's not even 3 MONTHS!!! She's going to be taller than me that's for sure!!
Our dog Oliver is just as cute as ever!! Unfortunately, he was sick all day on Christmas. He still played around, but he barfed so many times! Thank you so much for cleaning it up Darlington, and not complaining for me to. The one time I did was bad enough.
I have been really busy trying to de-clutter and organize my life. We are moving again soon and I really don't want to have anymore boxes!! I'm sick of unpacking garbage!! This time I want to be able to get to Boston, unpack, and that's it. Done. Anyway, I'm excited to get more settled and get back to my photography!
Speaking of Boston, I'm sure you are all DYING to know if we have our orders yet. We don't. We are still waiting to find out when this move is happening. Personally I'm grateful that we still get to be here. South Carolina has been really good to us. The people are wonderful!! William, on the other hand, would just love to get outta here. The flightline is definitely not his dream job.
Anyway, to sum up, we are all alive and well. We miss all our friends and family very much. Thanks you for you do!
